We are pleased to invite you to participate in the First Arizona
Workshop on Algorithms, to take place at Arizona State University (ASU)
in Tempe, AZ (Phoenix metro area) on Thursday, October 18.
(In the spirit of one of the topics covered, the conference will be
*approximately* collocated with FOCS 2001, to be held in Las Vegas,
October 14--17.)
This will be a one-day workshop consisting of six 50-minute talks with
ample time for discussion. Confirmed speakers include
